A downloadable tool for Windows

This is an Alice Chess board tool you could use to teach and play the Alice Chess variant with your friends. Stones feature intended for teaching annotations.

2 initial layouts selectable with the space bar. Supports saving/loading and position editing. Right-click for underpromotion. Instructions are in the starting screen.

No online or AI functionality. No rules enforcement, just a shared board for quick board position edits, self-analysis, and playing.

Install instructions

No installation required. After downloading and running the file, you might encounter the message "unknown publisher". Click "more information" and then "run anyway" to start the game.
